Founded in 2005, A Garden of Hope has been serving our community for over 15 years. We started as a small group of volunteers with a big dream, and over the years we have grown into a thriving organization that has helped thousands of people achieve their goals.
At Garden of Hope, our work in Kingman reflects our commitment to sustainability, healing, and empowerment. Our programs are designed to serve veterans, underserved communities, and future agricultural leaders with innovative, hands-on solutions:
1. Agricultural Training
We provide immersive agricultural education focusing on sustainable farming, soil regeneration, water conservation, and food sovereignty. Participants learn by doing — from container gardening and greenhouse management to composting and crop rotation.
2. Agricultural Healing Residences
We offer temporary housing in tiny homes for veterans and displaced families. These healing spaces support physical, mental, and emotional wellness through a trauma-informed, nature-based approach that fosters dignity, stability, and growth.
3. Drone-Based Land & Crop Management
Our drone program is led by James C. Waller III, a certified drone pilot and veteran. We use advanced technology to monitor soil health, water efficiency, and planting patterns — giving residents hands-on access to high-tech agricultural tools.
4. Veteran Transition Support
We host veteran-specific training programs, green career workshops, and entrepreneurship opportunities. These are designed to ease the military-to-civilian transition while providing purpose, connection, and marketable skills in a peaceful rural setting.
5. Renewable Energy Integration
